DOGS

HERE AT MAYBEE WE ARE EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ABOUT DOGS.  WE HAVE FOUR DOGS OF OUR OWN WHO ARE OUR FAMILY AND HAVE FREEDOM OF OUR GROUNDS,  ALTHOUGH THEY DO TEND TO STICK BY MY SIDE.

THEY CAN APPEAR ALARMING AT FIRST AS THEY WILL BARK UPON  ARRIVAL BUT AS SOON AS YOU EITHER IGNORE THEM OR GIVE THEM ATTENTION THEN THEY WILL BE YOUR FRIENDS.  THEY WILL BE KEPT IN THE COTTAGE WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

NONE ARE AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS PEOPLE AND JUST LOVE ATTENTION.

I WILL DO MY UPMOST TO KEEP THEM OUT OF YOUR WAY WHEN YOU ARRIVE BACK AND FORTH THE COTTAGE TO PARK ALTHOUGH THERE COULD BE TIMES IM CAUGHT BY SUPRISE.   ONCE YOU ARE IN THE FIELDS THEY CANT FOLLOW YOU INTO THE HUT.

THEY ARE WALKED AROUND OUR FIELDS MOST AFTERNOON AND ALSO HELP ME TEND TO THE ANIMALS.  IN THE MORNINGS THEY ARE TAKEN TO OUR LOCAL WOODS FOR A LONG WALK.

I APPRECIATE THAT SOME PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE DOGS OR ARE AFRAID BUT IF YOU'D REALLY LIKE TO STAY, AND I HOPE YOU DO, I WILL KEEP THEM WELL AWAY FROM YOU.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS A CONCERN FOR YOU.

HERE IS A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THEM:-

MR HUCKLEBEAR

Hi I'm a 6 year old clumberdoodle and I'm just like a big teddy bear.  I may have a loud bark when I am alerted but I'm described by all as heaven sent.  I love lots of cuddles and I really am an angel.

JEZ

I'm 9 and I'm told I am a black Labrador.  I was rescued from the private security industry and I am a retired explosive dog.  I love a tennis ball or anything you can throw.  Beware though, once you start the throwing game with me I wont let you stop!  I can be a little tempremental around large dogs I don't know but that was because i've been beaten up by loads of them in my past.

WINNIE (aka MOO MOO)

Ive just turned 2 years old and I was rescued by Sharon from a puppy farm last August.  I'm a Spoodle.  I was so nervous when I came to Maybee as I didn't know life outside a cage.  I am however so happy now, I just like to wiz around or cwtch up to my mum.  I can bark when I see a new human but please that's not to worry you its because I'm either nervous or just saying hello.

STANLEY

Hi I'm the baby of the pack but really I'm Stan the man and a little Norfolk Terrier.  I'm very loveable and my journey of life has just begun and I'm interested in all things new.  I'm very friendly and love a cuddle or a scoobie snack.

Throughout the week we have additional friends here so their parents can go out to work and they are not left on their own.  They are very friendly and 2 of them Beamish and Smudge are perhaps a little shy.  Diggy aka Barry White, Walrus of Love - the names say it all.  A wonderful soppy black lab who I'm sure you'll love.

All measures will be taken to stop the dogs pestering you with love in the parking area next to the cottage and if your happy to meet them just let me know.

As this is a new venture for us we still have a little more fencing to do around the cottage garden which will assist those who do not want contact with the dogs.

Please do not be put off by this.  They are very friendly and as animal lovers we expect that most people who book with us are animal lovers too.

WHILST WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER WITH YOU WE WILL NEED TO USE OUR DESCRETION.

OUR FRIENDLY FARM ANIMALS ARE USED TO OUR DOGS HOWEVER THEY LIVE WITH THEM EVERYDAY.

SOME DOGS CAN BE SCARED OR EVEN TROUBLESOME TO FARM ANIMALS.

WE ALSO HAVE TO CONSIDER THE SIZE OF YOUR ACCOMODATION AND THE UPKEEP OF ENSURING THAT IT STAYS TO A HIGH STANDARD.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING YOUR DOG THEN PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST SO WE CAN DISCUSS WHETHER OR NOT IT WILL BE SUITABLE.

THERE WILL BE A SMALL FEE AND I WOULD ASK THAT THEY ARE KEPT ON A LEAD UNTIL THEY ARE IN THE ENCLOSED GARDEN OF THE HUT.

PLEASE CONTACT ME FURTHER FOR MORE INFORMATION
